Dacor Falcon Back-Inflate Buoyancy Compensator (BC) XL
The Falcon BC from Dacor offers freedom and comfort in this, air all behind you design. The intuitive harness system allows for a better fit, greater freedom of movement combined with excellent stability and superior comfort. Full weight integration eliminates the need for a weight belt. 32 lbs ditch-able ballast capacity (16 lbs per pocket) with 2 rear zippered trim pockets for an additional 10 lbs of non-ditch-able weight. Quick Lock System for added security. Padded neoprene collar paired with padded shoulders complete a truly exceptional buoyancy compensator. Rotating buckles further optimize the positioning of the shoulder pads and the function of the chest strap. The Falcon also features an unroll-able zippered pocket (7″ X 10″), metal d-rings, Pulse Inflator System, adjustable depth compensating waistband all brought together by the newly designed backplate. The patented “over-molding” process makes it possible to join the backplate, constructed from a light, but extremely durable technopolymer with a special soft rubber covering. This offers a brand-new look as well as never-before-seen comfort and stability. Dacor has a long standing reputation for quality scuba gear and their Falcon BC is no exception.

I used this gear for about 30 dives in California waters. I LOVE this BC!! The back inflation makes dives 100 times more comfortable and offers much better buoyancy control. BC was in perfect working condition on my last dive, but has been in storage for a couple of years. Prior to that, everything was meticulously maintained and regularly serviced. I would recommend servicing the BC before deep open water use.
