The Mikron has a balanced diaphragm and the second stage is pneumatically balanced to provide top performance. The second stage has an adjustment knob that allows you to optimize the air flow. When the adjustment knob is at its lowest point this will minimize the chance for free flow and the air flow is decreased. When the adjustment knob is at its maximized position the inhalation effort is reduced thus decreasing the breathing effort.
 
The 1 high pressure port and 4 low pressure ports allow for optimal hose positioning for a more comfortable fit. The Aqua Lung Comfo-bite mouthpiece comes standard on Aqua Lung regulators. Not only does the Pink Vanilla Mikron version sport the colors that females love but it also has a mouthpiece that is smaller and designed specifically for those with smaller bites.
